Description
Polyether ester defoamers are prepared by reacting polyether defoamers with fatty acids or other organic acids. Because of this,
The molecular structure retains certain functional groups from polyether defoamers while introducing new ester groups. This modification eliminates the influence of hydrogen bonding found in conventional polyether defoamers, thereby enhancing its dispersibility and providing longer-lasting foam suppression in specific industries or applications. In addition to the strong foam-suppressing performance characteristic of polyether defoamers, this product is also easier to disperse.
Depending on the characteristics of different industries, different organic acids will be selected for esterification. If necessary, these organic acids may be compounded with other polyethers or partially hydrolyzed to meet the defoaming and foam-suppressing performance requirements of the industry or product.
