Description
High-carbon alcohol-based defoamers are formulated using high-grade fatty alcohols, high-grade fatty acids, long-chain mineral oils, and various water-soluble modified vegetable oils as auxiliary oils. They are combined with water-soluble linear small-molecule alcohols and produced via an emulsification process conducted under high-temperature conditions, using an emulsifier. O/W emulsion-type defoamer.
The fatty acids and fatty alcohols contained therein exhibit strong hydrophobicity and are resistant to hydrolysis. The auxiliary oil boasts a broad compatibility and excellent fluidity, while the small-molecule alcohols demonstrate good hydrophilicity. As a result, the overall formulation exhibits strong dispersibility, does not cause pigment migration, and boasts excellent biodegradability.
It exhibits excellent degassing and antifoaming properties in papermaking white water, effectively preventing issues such as paper breaks, pinholes, and speckles caused by foam.
