LJ-205P Silicone Defoamer

Silicone-based defoamers are formulated with active ingredients such as dimethyl silicone oil and precipitated silica, combined with various emulsifiers. Based on the prerequisite assurance provided by dispersants, chelating agents, and stabilizers, they are produced via a special process to yield an emulsion-type defoamer. Depending on their composition, they can be categorized into bulk-type and... O/W and W/O emulsions, among others. Their active ingredients are characterized by low electronegativity, strong hydrophobicity, and a tendency to avoid forming hydrogen bonds; as a result, they exhibit very low surface tension. They exert defoaming effects by reducing foam surface tension, disrupting the electrical double layer, and employing bridging action.
