Cation exchange resin is a type of high molecular weight insoluble spherical organic polymer with acidic active groups. It has negatively charged functional groups fixed on its skeleton, which can dissociate mobile cations and undergo reversible exchange adsorption with cations such as calcium, magnesium, iron, potassium, and sodium in aqueous solution.
Common applications:
Water treatment: boiler softened water, pure/ultrapure water preparation, groundwater hardness removal;
Chemical industry: metal ion recovery, amino acid separation, solution decolorization and purification;
Food, medicine, electroplating, and laboratory water quality refinement.
